Accessing the school’s campus

Over the next several months the existing building is being renovated. Effective January 15, 2020, the walking path that leads from the Wedgewood community around to the front of the school building will not be accessible due to construction work. Students walking from the Wedgwood community may enter the building at door #12 OR walk on the sidewalk around the back of the building to access the quad and modular. If students who walk from the Wedgewood community arrive late to school, they will need to walk on the sidewalk around the back of the building to either door #9 (new wing) or door #3 (existing building) to ring the doorbell. Parents needing access the main office will access the school’s campus from the front parking lot.

GPS Bracelets/Devices

A parent or guardian who wishes for their child to wear a bracelet or device with GPS capabilities, such as an AngelSense, to school must now request principal approval for the device. Parents or guardians should utilize the new Request for Principal's Approval For Student Use Of GPS Bracelet/Device (SS/SE-349), located on the internet and intranet. If the device also includes communication features, parents must agree to disable these features during the school day and, if applicable, while on the school bus. After receiving the request, principals should complete the bottom portion of the form, file it in the student’s scholastic record, and provide a copy of the completed form to the parent or guardian. A new request needs to be completed before each school year begins.
