Norma Gordon is enthusiastic to be joining the team at Ft. Belvoir Primary as a new Assistant Principal.  Ms. Gordon has a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. She was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended FCPS schools.  After leaving a career in private business 13 years ago, Ms. Gordon became a special education teacher and has never looked back.  She brings a wealth of knowledge around the special education process and will be chairing the local screening committee.  She looks forward to working with the students, staff and families of Ft. Belvoir Primary.

Both Grants are DoDEA funded and Support STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), and Project-Based Learning (PBL)

Who:  All students who attend FBES (Primary & Upper)

Hands-on Activities and demonstrations than we can list!
Demonstrations: Robotics, Marshmallow Vacuum fun, and 3D-printing
Activities: Army Museum, Marine Corps Museum, American Society of Naval Engineers, Egg Drop Engineering, and Night Vision
Other: GMU Math Department, MWR, CYS, SLOs, and light lunch for sale by the PTO.

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Thursday, November 21 & Friday, November 22

 

This year Fort Belvoir Primary will hold its Annual Thanksgiving luncheon during regular lunch schedule on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22. Invitations were sent home this week's. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. Price per person $4.25 (this cost is for anyone that does not attend FCPS) which can be paid by check payable to FCPS Food Services, cash, or www.myschoolbucks.com.

Survey

You are invited to take a short survey about how you found an early childhood program for your child. The survey will take about 10 minutes and is voluntary.
