National Hispanic Heritage Month
Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Read the Proclamation from Governor Youngkin recognizing the month stating “citizens are encouraged to participate in activities designed to bring recognition, understanding, and appreciation to the significant contributions made by Hispanic and Latino Americans.” Visit the National Hispanic Heritage Month website hosted by the Library of Congress, or eMediaVA for resources and information.
