A Note From the Director
Thank you to all the agencies that submitted the Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion Report in March. Chief Brown shared he received 100% of the expected reports! As a reminder, Agency DOI Plans are due May 1. These should be modeled after the updated goals and objectives, which is available on the DHRM page. The plan should be submitted directly to Martin Brown, Chief Diversity Office. If your annual report included your agency goals and objectives, please notify Chief Brown.
As a reminder, Employment Opportunities Plans are due by June 30 and Workforce Plans are due by September 30 each year. The metrics from these plans are valuable resources that will help us assess the effectiveness of our employee engagement efforts.
We hope your agency is excited about Virginia Public Service Week, May 5-11! Agencies are encouraged to conduct fun and engaging activities for employees throughout this week. Share photos with us! We want to feature your Public Service Week photos in the Employee Experience magazine that is published quarterly. Submit photos here.
Thank you!
