NIST MEP Staffing Update

MEP'S Marketing and Communications team will add two new part-time resources.

Beginning this week, Natasha Hanacek and Elena Gurac will work remotely for about 10 hours/week. 

 

Elena Gurac will be on assignment to MEP through the end of January under the Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Program.  Many of you may know Elena.  She is the Executive Director of FuzeHub, New York State’s newest MEP Center. Elena will assist the Marketing & Communications Team with website design and content; marketing insights and assistance from a Center perspective on a national network brand strategy and implementation; the Marketing Working Group; and MFG DAY communication tactics and resources for Centers.   

 

Natasha Hanacek will be handling many of MEP’s graphic design needs and will also be involved in creating our weekly e-Blasts. She is based in the NIST Public Affairs office, and since starting last August, Natasha has worked on various projects in print and web.

MEP Events

JUNE

June 21-23, 2016. Workshop in Irvine, CA: Additive Manufacturing Community of Practice Workshop. There is interest within the MEP network to develop a community of practice around additive manufacturing. June 28, 2016. NYC Solutions Forum for Manufacturers (Event Link) : FuzeHub has partnered with ITAC and the Brooklyn Navy Yard to serve the evolving needs of manufacturing
companies, provide assistance to companies seeking to accelerate product commercialization, and help disseminate innovation and expertise across firms. Attendees will be able to sit down face to face with the 20-plus technical and business resources that we have gathered from the region and across the state for this event.
