When TBI Biomarkers May Not Indicate TBI
Biomarker is something of a buzzword in TBI research these days, with promising discoveries about how clues in the blood are linked to changes in the brain. Research suggests that TBI is one factor that can cause changes in serum levels of GFAP and UCH-L1, the two biomarkers closest to TBI clinical application in the military. But are there other explanations for these changes?

Treating the Most Common TBI for All Age Groups
Concussion is by far the most common type of TBI, and not just for service members.
