New! See a Game with Your Colleagues at Nats Park on August 1st ⚾
OCFO is again hosting a Nationals outing for those in the D.C. area. The game is on Tuesday, August 1st at 7:05 p.m. versus Milwaukee. Tickets should be around $20 (give or take a buck or two).
If you're interested in attending, Evan Farley has set up a spreadsheet where you can add your name, number of tickets, and office. Please add your email address if you intend to use the Ballpark app.
What is the Ballpark app you ask? Nationals Park only uses digital tickets and these tickets will be distributed to Evan electronically. You will have two ways to gain access to the park. First, if you have an MLB account and use the Ballpark app, Evan will forward the ticket to the email address associated with your MLB account. This allows you to enter the park at your leisure using a ticket on your phone. If not, He will arrange a time prior to first pitch where everyone will meet at a designated spot and he will use my phone to admit those without Ballpark one by one.
Please sign up by Monday, July 10th. If your name is on the list as of that date, a ticket will be purchased for you. If you ultimately can't use the ticket, you will still be responsible for the cost (you are, of course, free to pass the ticket to a colleague or contact Evan to help find an OCFO buyer).
Venmo or PayPal are Evan's preferred methods of payment, and details for sending payment will follow for those who sign up.

Shout out to Sherri Pendleton (BG2ECD)!
Shout out to Sherri Pendleton for being the best back up when one is out. Thanks, Sherri!
Submitted by: Teresa M. Potts-Hill (BG2ECD)
Shout out to LaToya McClellan (BG2DDC)!
Being relatively new to my position, there are times when I need guidance. Despite not performing this role in years, LaToya has retained every detail of every process. I can send her a chat seeking answers to the most detailed minutiae, and she'll respond with a comprehensive answer in minutes. Because we haven't met in person, I do wonder if she's a hologram or maybe some kind of AI prototype. Either way, I'd like to thank LaToya for her extensive knowledge and willingness to mentor.
