Explore USGS Water Data
 Locating and filtering data by specific parameters and time range of data collection is now available! Explore USGS Water Data provides users with a dynamic tool to filter and locate monitoring locations and water data in WDFN that meet their needs.
|

The newly released State Pages provide an overview of monitoring locations located in states that collect continuous data. The State Pages have replaced the recently decommissioned state current conditions tables on NWISWeb.
Watch this video to learn how to make and save a current conditions table with the new State Pages.
Note: Due to user feedback, we recently added the ability to group monitoring locations by HUC-06 drainage basin.

Water Year Summary Reports
 A new interface to view Water Year Summary Reports has been provisionally released. Any feedback or comments can be sent to CompTools@usgs.gov.

 hyswap is an open-source Python package that is designed to enable cooperators, stakeholders and the public to calculate summary hydrologic statistics from USGS water data and create maps, tables and visualizations for critical decision-making.

The R blog series works up from functional programming foundations through the use of the targets R package to create efficient, reproducible data workflows.

 Campaign 1 of the NWISWeb Decommission has brought changes and new features to accessing water data. The last step of Campaign 1 will be the release of WDFN Home – a new homepage to help users navigate to exploratory pages that best meet their needs. Coming soon!
