"Payslips" for the 1 February 2022 payday are available in Direct Access. Report any discrepancies through the P&A Office (Admin) to the SPO. If SPOs cannot address or need assistance, the SPO will submit a trouble ticket. Payslips can be accessed via the Self-Service "View" menu - https://hcm.direct-access.uscg.mil/

The more you understand some of the basics of the various pay, special pays and allowances, the better you are able to make sure the information we need to compute your pay each month is up-to-date. The tool available to all military members each payday is the Direct Access Payslip. This report lets you know the information our systems use to process your pay, details about the pay and allowances you are eligible for, payroll deductions, as well as your leave balance.   • Note: Issue With Tax Data on Direct Access Payslips for January, February, and March

    Calendar year 2022 FSMS payslip improvement testing for January, February and March will show partially configured tax data. 

    This information is to be disregarded. Once FSMS testing and configuration is complete those identifiers and or amounts will be adjusted accordingly on customers’ pay slips. SPOs/P&As: Please refer to "Pay Calcs" in Direct Access for accurate amounts. Questions about payslip information shall be directed to Customer Care at PPC-DG-CUSTOMERCARE@USCG.MIL.

The end-month payday is Tuesday, 1 February 2022. Paydays are the 1st (end-month) and the 15th (mid-month) of each month, or the business day preceding the 1st or the 15th if either should fall on a federal holiday, Saturday or Sunday. Members should not set up automated payments or assume funds will be available prior to published paydays. Members should verify with their financial institutions as to the actual time funds are available to their account. May 2022 Service-Wide Examination (SWE) Competition

This message announces the May 2022 SWE competition for all Ratings, except MU. IAW, Ref A, the Coast Guard has moved to a single, annual examination for all active duty enlisted members competing for advancement to pay grades E5 - E8. Commanding Officers (CO) must ensure dissemination of this ALCGENL to all active duty enlisted members in their AOR. Members planning to compete in the SWE shall be aware of the requirements and guidelines contained in this ALCGENL. Failure to do so is not justification for a waiver to compete in the SWE.

Your PCS move just got easier—Coast Guard Mutual Assistance rolls out two new programs in support

Your Coast Guard family’s permanent change of duty station (PCS) move is now supported by two new programs offered by Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA). As of Jan. 1, 2022, both programs operate year-round and provide compensation toward specific family relocation fees. The first is a grant, called the Education Advocate Grant, and the second is a no-interest loan, called the Spouse Professional Requirements Loan Program.
