SUBJECT: Notice of Final Selection of a Centralized Exam Station (CES) Operator for the Los Angeles/Long Beach (LA/LB) Seaport.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Trade Information Notice (TIN) is to announce the final selection of a Centralized Examination Station (CES) Operator for the LA/LB Seaport.
BACKGROUND:
A CES facility, as provided for in Title 19, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) §118, is a privately operated facility where merchandise is presented to CBP for physical examinations.
On November 6, 2024, CBP announced a 60-day open season for submission of CES Operator applications in the LA/LB Seaport area via Public Bulletin (PB) #LA25-001 and invited the public to submit comments thereon.
On February 20, 2025, CBP announced two applications were received via PB #LA25-006 and invited the public to submit comments thereon.
On November 17, 2025, CBP announced that a tentative selection was made via TIN # 66835651 and invited the public to submit comments thereon.
ACTION:
After careful review and in accordance with the provisions set forth in 19 CFR § 118.12 for the establishment of a CES, the Port Director hereby announces the final selection of the CES facility below for the LA/LB Seaport.

In accordance with 19 CFR § 118.5, the CES Operator shall not implement any changes to the Fee Schedule prior to obtaining written approval from the Port Director. The attached Fee Schedule published via PB #LA25-006 issued on February 20, 2025, has been approved.
