CSMS #42866592 - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Pilot Expansion to All Filers in FWS Authorized Ports

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) Production Pilot deployed April 6, 2020 remains on schedule. Beginning July 6, 2020, submission of the FWS PGA Message Set in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will be available to all filers in all FWS designated ports. FWS data must be filed through an authorized FWS Designated Port, listed in the attached document, per Title 50 Code of Federal Regulations Part 14.12. Any CBP Port outside of this list will require a valid FWS Designated Port Exception Permit (DPEP), authorizing the specific port and issued to the importer.

All filers will be authorized to file FWS data in ACE PRODUCTION, beginning on July 6, 2020, by 12:00pm Eastern.

Effective on June 3, 2020, by 12:00pm Eastern, CBP’s CERTIFICATION environment will be open to all filers to test the FWS PGA Message Set. FWS HTS flags will be enforced with a warning severity.
