What's so sweet that it can make you cry? If you guessed onions, then you are correct! This Friday the Vidalia Onion Committee takes over the VegU tent to share information about this fan favorite vegetable topping.

If the sweet smell of onion funk is too much for you, then grab your lunch and let your ears feast on the music of the DC-based The Funktronics in the garden. The group brings a fresh interpretation of classic grooves and recent jams, all done in a tasteful fashion guaranteed to please.

If onions or funk are not your things, grab your favorite dairy product and celebrate World Milk Day at the Fresh this Week tent!

We are layered with so many options at the USDA Farmers Market! See you there!

Vidalia Onions are only grown in Georgia. In the past 5 years, the Vidalia Onion Committee increased its focus on research, after seeing the increase demand by consumers. The Vidalia Onion Committee decided to ensure that the onion that was marketed was of the best eating quality. Photo courtesy of the Vidalia Onion Committee.
