Our apprenticeships span a wide range of roles, including Vehicle Maintenance, Adult Social Care, Project Management, Highways and Engineering, Finance and Accountancy, Business Administration, Digital and Data, Catering and more – with opportunities from Level 2 to Level 6 (degree-level).

After seeking the views of families last year, Westmorland and Furness Council took the decision to bring the Child and Family Support Services back under council control through their newly created Family Hubs.
The service, previously contracted to Family Action, Barnardo’s and Action for Children across the Westmorland and Furness council area, will be managed by the council from April 1 2025.
Please be assured that the service supporting children, young people and their families will continue to be offered by Westmorland and Furness council and the aim is that families will experience as little change as possible.
