With the cold winter months, and Covid-19 and flu in circulation, it's more important than ever to look after our physical and mental health. Below are links to information and resources to support you in this process:
Staying healthy
It's important that we get enough vitamin D as we may have been indoors more than usual this year. Learn more from the NHS.
During periods of extreme cold weather we need to ensure we stay warm and well. Heat your home to at least 18°C and remember to telephone those who are vulnerable to make sure they are keeping warm. Financial support is available for those in need. See more cold weather and financial support information.
Find out more about your fitness level with the help of two online NHS tests, and discover what you can do to live better, for longer.
- The Healthy Heart test will tell you your heart age compared to your real age and how you can improve it with some simple lifestyle changes.
- The How Are You? test will give you a free, personalised health score after taking a ten minute quiz.
