From Wales to the world – help us turn the world Welsh this St David’s Day
This year we’re celebrating our national day with a hwyl-filled social media celebration of our nation that showcases the Random Acts of Welshness – little things that bring our traditions and country to life.
This campaign is a great opportunity for you to join in the fun and make our national day one to remember for your visitors and staff.
If you have special plans to celebrate St David’s Day we would love to hear from you so that we can share your celebrations: please let us know on Croeso@gov.Wales
What makes an act of Welshness?
- It’s a little thing that’s easy to do
- It celebrates our people or traditions
- And, above all else, it makes someone’s day, or the world, just that little bit better.
Here’s an information deck with more detail and a video for some inspiration.

St David’s Day toolkit for Welsh food and drink producers
Food & Drink Wales’ #CaruCymruCaruBlas #LoveWalesLoveTaste campaign will be back this St David’s Day to support Welsh food and drink and help producers to promote their brands on St David’s Day.
The social media campaign starts on 24 February – with digital frames encouraging consumers to ‘Make it Welsh’ and has a new digital toolkit for producers to use in their social media communications during the campaign.
