Improved prostate cancer diagnosis

The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Centre of Excellence has used funding from the Welsh Government to help develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The collaboration between NHS Wales, Ibex and University Health Boards has led to more accurate and effective diagnoses of prostate cancer.

Media Cymru Development Fund 

The Fund offers up to £50,000 for Wales based individuals and businesses to research and develop (R&D) innovation-driven projects that demonstrate clear potential for a tangible product, experience or service in the media sector.

Unlocking Potential Award

The Innovate UK awards aim to build an accessible innovation system that is more representative of UK society. They are designed to harness the power of diversity, whilst developing and delivering the talent and skills the UK needs. Two levels of support are available to cover different stages of a business journey:

  • Begin: up to £15K of support
  • Build: up to £50k of support
