The Open University ITE partnership is developing two new routes into teaching, a Part Time PGCE and a Salaried PGCE, both leading to a PGCE and QTS. Secondary Science Salaried PGCE places are available in April 2020.

This year the MOD made £2m available to support service children in education in the UK for which seven schools were successful in Wales with partial or full funding totalling £134,584.00. The MOD support fund is separate and in addition to the Welsh Government Supporting Service Children in Wales Fund.
