Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) helps Qioptiq

Qioptiq Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of optical and photonics products and solutions. In 2016 they entered into a two-year KTP with Cardiff Business School to help reduce operating costs and optimise stock levels for service contracts. The Partnership has enabled them to build a purpose-built production facility and increase their work force.

Advances Wales Issue 86

The latest Advances features work from scientists who have discovered that nanoparticles derived from tea leaves can inhibit the growth of lung cancer cells. The edition also highlights collaboration between industry and academia resulting in the development of an innovative system to detect damage in military body armour.

Low Carbon Mobility Event
