Maths resources for parents

Following feedback from parents/ carers, one recurring theme seems to be a fear of maths and supporting their child at home.  So, Welsh Government have engaged with numeracy experts in Wales to produce a selection of maths resources aimed at 3 to 16 year olds to encourage parents/carers to engage with their children and support them with their maths homework.


Progress for Success has now officially launched!

Progress for Success is a work based training programme which will fund practitioners aged 25 or above, working in the childcare, early years (including Foundation Phase)  and play sector in Wales to achieve nationally recognised qualifications at levels 2 and 3


Family learning programmes – A new resource in the FaCE the challenge together: Family and community engagement toolkit for schools in Wales

A new resource has been added to Theme 4 in the FaCE toolkit. Family learning programmes (FLPs) can be a strong tool to encourage and support family engagement in a child’s learning. Use the resource to reflect on your practice.

The Digital Competence Framework is now available to Schools and Settings in Wales

Developed by Pioneer Schools, this is the first element of the new Curriculum for Wales to be delivered.  The Framework and supporting materials are available on Learning Wales.
