Support increased for Ukrainian hosts
As cost of living pressures increase, we have decided to provide additional financial support to residents who are hosting those who have had to flee from Ukraine.
Under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, hosts of Ukrainian refugees have been receiving a monthly payment of £350.
From this month, we are increasing this payment to the 124 Teignbridge households currently hosting 241 Ukrainians to £500 to help hosts deal with increasing costs and as a thank you for their commitment to supporting Ukrainians through the current crisis. We shall maintain this level of payment for the next six months.
