The changes have created a safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians, and opened up more opportunities for active travel in the city centre.
Walkways will remain widened and the suspension of nine parking spaces, with the retention of two disabled spaces, will continue. An additional two disabled spaces were provided at Spooner Road and Taptonville Road.
The speed limits aim to improve safety for pedestrians, reduce the number of collisions and create safer communities for residents.

Owners of older non-compliant vehicles based in Sheffield and Rotherham can still apply for financial support to upgrade or replace a vehicle to meet CAZ standards.
Applications for the retrospective financial support scheme are open. If you have already upgraded your vehicle to meet CAZ standards, you may be eligible to apply for a grant to contribute towards the costs.
The retrospective scheme will close on Thursday 29 June at 11.59pm.
