Local exemptions
Local exemptions that delayed charging for Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) and Hackney Carriage Taxi vehicles are ending in under 2 weeks.
Charges will apply to enter the Clean Air Zone (CAZ) from Monday 5 June, unless the vehicle is compliant or has an alternative exemption.
Vehicle owners of older non-compliant vehicles based in Sheffield and Rotherham can still apply for financial support to upgrade or replace a vehicle to meet CAZ standards.
Pay a CAZ charge securely on the government's Clean Air Zone website.
Retrospective scheme
Our retrospective financial support scheme is now open. If you have already upgraded your vehicle to meet CAZ standards, you may be eligible to apply for a grant to contribute towards the costs you have incurred.
The retrospective scheme will be open for a period of eight weeks and will close on Thursday 29 June at 11.59pm.
