Active Neighbourhoods taking shape
Communities in Crookes and Nether Edge are starting to see changes on their streets, as Active Neighbourhoods are created to make improvements that benefit the people who live and work there.

Sheffield’s exciting events calendar is back in full swing, with the city’s free community events attracting record numbers and showcasing the best in family entertainment.
A fund has been set up to help Sheffield people most affected by the rising cost-of-living and is welcoming donations from individuals or organisations who would like to support this work.
There will be no changes to bin collection days or Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) opening hours over the four day UK Bank Holiday weekend, from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June.
If your organisation works with council tenants or in and around council housing estates in Sheffield, you can apply for a Community Fund grant to get your project off the ground. Deadline for applications is Sunday 26th June 2022

Childcare Survey 2022
We want to understand the current supply and demand for childcare. Tell us your experience of childcare and we will use your feedback to work with providers and schools when planning childcare in Sheffield. Deadline 5 June.
