Last month, I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with Mary, our Landlord and Compliance Specialist, following some of her duties as a Housing Compliance Case Manager.
We began our afternoon by tending to the maintenance of the life-saving defibrillator machines strategically placed throughout our community.
It's important for us to ensure that you, as our residents, are at the heart of our decision making. After all, our reason for existence is to provide you with safe homes and neighbourhoods.
Your homes and neighbourhoods
Who better to tell us what your requirements are than you?
Therefore, we need to involve you from the beginning. We must engage with our residents. Then it’s our job to mesh your requirements with our organisational and legal requirements so that our strategies, policies and decisions are fit for purpose, for you and for us.
If you want to get more involved with us, contact Sharon Yarde and Sharon Sloan:

The Debt and Benefits Drop-In Surgeries held at Priorswood Resource Centre and The Link Centre will be closed over the summer school holidays, returning in September as follows:
In the interim, our advisors are still available at either centre, by making an appointment:
Lettings Case Manager, Debbie, has received exceptional feedback for her work with a Ukrainian family, effectively dispelling the new tenant's concerns and fostering a warm reception.
Here are the heartfelt words of the resident:
"I am incredibly grateful to you for all the help and support, you received us very warmly, to be honest, I was afraid of the meeting that you would not like us. Thanks again for your help, we really need it. I will do everything to make you proud of me, we will not cause you any problems. And you are a very kind woman, thank you for your hard work."
In addition to the residents' kind words, Debbie has also earned praise from her manager, Tony. According to Tony:
"Debbie has enhanced not only her reputation but also the reputation of the Council. Really good piece of work."
