Complete survey on the SEND Workforce Training page
The SEND Workforce Development Group would value your feedback on the Portsmouth Local Offer SEND Workforce Training page by Friday 26 June.
The survey will ensure the page is useful, accessible and meets the training needs of those working with children and young people.
The survey should take no more than 5–10 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. We are keen to hear from both those who are familiar with, and have used, the page, as well as those who may not yet have engaged with it, so we can better understand awareness and potential areas for development.
We would very much welcome any additional comments you may wish to share within the survey, providing this detail is entirely optional.

Portsmouth City Council have fully launched an Assistive Technology Lending Library (ATLL), hosted at City of Portsmouth College, Highbury Campus
The ATLL is designed to support inclusive practice in mainstream education settings by providing access to a wide range of assistive technologies for trial in real classroom contexts. This enables staff to evaluate the impact of assistive technology as part of ordinarily available provision before making investment decisions.
The ATLL is now open for bookings. You can view the full catalogue and register via the website.
Once registered: • Accounts will be reviewed and authorised by the Inclusion Hub team • Users will receive confirmation when they are able to log in • You can then browse, request and manage loans directly through the platform • Equipment is collected from and returned to the City of Portsmouth College Highbury Campus as per the booking times
As part of the pilot, schools are asked to provide feedback on the technology. This helps build the evidence base for effective use of assistive technology and supports ongoing development of the library. A digital feedback form will be shared once equipment has been returned.
For any enquiries, please contact the Inclusion Hub at inclusionhub@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
