The headcount task will be available on the provider portal from Monday 12 January 2026, and headcount date for the Statutory Early Years Census is 15 January 2026. In order to avoid late submissions please make sure that your current log in details are working, contact the Synergy support team at synergysupport@portsmouthcc.gov.uk if you have password issues that need resolving.
The deadline for submission is Friday 23 January 2026.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: To support the LA in their statutory duty to return the Early Years Census all Providers MUST complete the 'My Details' section prior to submitting the headcount claim.
All providers must complete adjustment task 1 if there are any changes to their previously submitted actual headcount claim, which may include children starting or leaving the setting or an increase/decrease in funded hours.
You will be able to view your previously submitted headcount tasks and payment summary on the Synergy portal. Any adjustments to payments will be made by the end of March 2026.
