Voting in elections: resource pack for those working with young people |
|
 |
Portsmouth City Council elections team want to make sure that all people in Portsmouth have the knowledge needed to feel confident voting in elections. To promote this, it is vital that young people learn about voting and democracy early.
Your help with this, be it by starting conversations with your students about these topics, running a full session on voting and elections, or inviting one of the team into your school, is much appreciated. To make it easier, a resource pack has been created that includes a wide range of activities you may want to consider.
If you have any questions, please email Sarah.Lehmkuehler@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.

Photos need for the Portsmouth Education Partnership website |
|
 |
We are refreshing the imagery used across the Portsmouth Education Partnership website and other marketing materials and would like a selection of photos that represent and celebrate the city's schools and colleges, including pupils and staff. This could be any aspect of school life, including photos from the classroom or pupils having fun in the playground.
If your trust, school or college is able to provide any photos for use on the website and in our marketing, we would be incredibly grateful.
Consent needed
To comply with the council's data protection policies, all individuals featured in the photos you supply must give consent by completing our consent form. A parent/carer will need to complete the form on their behalf if they are under 13.
Please also ensure that everyone in the photo is provided with a copy of the image usage details form which outlines how the photos will be used and how consent can be withdrawn.
Photo requirements
Any photos provided should be of high quality and JPEG or PNG format. Please send completed consent forms and photos to pep@portsmouthcc.gov.uk.
