School improvement
Is your school taking part in fundraising for Children in Need 2023? |
|
|
Are your students doing the Pudsey Bearpees challenge or taking part in a Pudsey run? Do you have a breakfast club which could do “Just dance” at 8am! Will children be bringing in spotty bakes and dressing up? Perhaps you have taken on the Pudsey learning day and have turned the whole day over to the Twinkl plan!
Would you like your school and your pupils to feature on BBC radio and television? It will give them a chance to show off their fundraising, be proud of their achievements and highlight some positivity!
BBC South is looking for a school to host us 7.30am - 10am on the morning of Friday 17 November 2023. Ideally we’d have some children and adults to speak to a few times during this time on BBC Radio Solent, and be able to film selected individuals for inclusion on BBC South Today. Pictures would also be taken to submit to the BBC website. It’s quite possible some of the footage and recordings will feature on other BBC platforms too.
Please contact emily.hudson@bbc.co.uk for more information.

The project, funded by the English Football League Trust, lasts for one half term, delivered weekly, and consists of a 45min classroom session on the importance of healthy eating and an active lifestyle, followed by a 45min active session featuring fun games rather than a traditional P.E session.
These sessions offer a great alternative to more traditional healthy eating sessions delivered in PSHE, are free of charge and can be booked in for autumn 2 or any half term beyond that.
Please contact Head of Curriculum, Sam Cleare, on sam.cleare@pompeyitc.org.uk for more information and booking.
