NASEN EY SEND Partnership Project webinars

Natalie Oliver

NASEN are delighted to announce that, as part of the EY SEND Partnership Project, they have received further funding from DfE to run a further two core training webinars for practitioners from early years settings and childminders.

‘Meeting the Needs of Every Child’ is a 2-hour live webinar which gives an introduction to SEND legislation, the role of the SENCO and the Key Person, the early identification of SEND, the Graduated Approach and building partnerships with parents.

Best Start

The Speech and Language Therapy Team are supporting Early Years settings in Portsmouth through the Best Start programme to help develop practitioners skills in communication and language development.

You can access free online training by visiting  https://www.e-lfh.org.uk/programmes/best-start-in-speech-language-and-communication/

You will need to set up an e-learning access account to view the training, a quick guide to doing this can be found How to set up and access E-learning account.docx

You can find out more about the Best Start programme by viewing this leaflet that the Speech and Language Team have created.
