BBC Children in Need: Emergency Essentials ProgrammeBBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme supports children and young people who are facing exceptionally difficult circumstances, and is delivered by Family Fund Business Services. The programme provides items that meet a child’s most basic needs such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker to provide a hot meal and other items or services critical to child’s wellbeing. Applications must be completed by a registered referrer who is part of an organisation that is supporting the family or young person and capable of assessing their needs. The Magdalen Hospital Trust - open to applications 1st – 31st OctoberOrganisations working with vulnerable children and young adults, especially those at risk of sexual and other forms of exploitation are able to apply for grants of £500 to £2000. The Trustees meet twice a year, usually in June and December. With submission dates for those deadlines being between 1st and 30th April for the June meeting and between 1st and 31st October for the December meeting. No applications will be considered outside those dates. All applicants will be notified of decisions after the relevant Trustees' Meeting. The Tudor TrustThe Tudor Trust is an independent grant-making trust which supports voluntary and community groups. The criteria is fairly broad, with voluntary and community groups working within any part of the UK eligible as long as they have a bank account. The Trust also wants groups who:
The Trust is more likely to fund groups with a turnover of less than £1million as they are more interested in supporting smaller groups, although exceptions can be made so it is advised larger groups contact the trust before applying. Tudor operates a two-stage application process and so ask all applicants to complete a brief first-stage proposal. That bit at the end!North Devon Homes Customers Summer Fayre:Wed 31st July 2019 11am – 3pm The NDH Customer Summer Fayre is a fun packed day for North Devon Homes customers and their families. There will lots of great entertainment to enjoy including a petting farm, photo-booth, donkey rides, climbing wall, giant inflatable jungle run, bungee run and lots of stalls. You'll also get the chance to meet our new NDH mascot and give him a name! The event is free to attend for all NDH customers and your entry pack will include a picnic lunch and vouchers for activities making this a really great day out. Please note a picnic lunch is available for all tenants and up to 3 guests per tenant only. Other guests are welcome to join without a picnic lunch. For example, a family of four tenants of NDH can bring up to 12 guests who can have a picnic lunch but additional guests will be for activities only. Please note there may be age, height or weight restrictions on some activities. Please note the event is free but you need to book by 23 July 2019 if you require transport and/or food provided.
