On June 12 we launched our leadership development programme. The sessions aim to develop staff’s skills in leading and supporting teams through community transformation.
Our first cohort are the core community teams in Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey (BEH) boroughs. We are hoping to run further cohorts for Camden and Islington (C&I) colleagues later this year.
We spoke to Kerby Francis who is a Haringey Community Rehab Manager after the session, she said “I enjoyed the discussions today, it's great to have the space to stop and think”

Darren Baker is the Psychological Therapies Lead for Psychosis in Haringey. On 3 May a co-production session was held with Darren’s team and a combination of Service Users, Carers and Peer support workers. The aim of the session was to discuss community transformation and how service users and carers should be involved in the planning and re-design of some Psychosis services. Four service users and carers and three peer support workers came to the day.
We’d like to say thank you to everyone who attended for their valuable contributions.

We are pleased to announce that as part of the Partnership's Community Transformation Programme, we are continuing to strengthen our work with the voluntary care sector (VCS).
In C&I we have new contracts with our VCS partners, enhancing our offer to our population. In Camden we have contracts with Mind in Camden and Likewise; in Islington with Islington’s Peoples Rights, Age UK Islington and Healthwatch Islington.
In BEH we have just extended our contracts and committed additional funding to enhance our VCS offer. In Barnet this will include Mind and Wellbeing Together. In Enfield it will be with Wellbeing Together. Haringey will be with Hestia.

The pioneering Enfield Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
(CAMHS) co-production project commenced in March 2022. It was designed and led by Meera Kapadia (Pictured in the centre); a CAMHS psychotherapist and co-production project lead, alongside two community researchers. Meera is pictured with Nadira on the left and Maggie on the right who both supported the work.
The work has been selected as a finalist for the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Patient Involvement in Safety Awards. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Manchester on 18 September 2023.

As of the first of June, we are now using DIALOG+ across the Partnership.
There’s nothing better than hearing first hand from those who have been working closely on the project. As part of our Community Mental Health Transformation (CMHT) programme, Emelie Green, DIALOG+ Project Manager, believes it’s a real gamechanger; “We can provide personalised care plans, taking into account each service user's unique needs.”
