Welcome to this special edition of the Age Friendly Nottingham (AFN) Bulletin which gives details of some of the FREE events and activities taking place across Nottingham to mark International Older People's Day on 1 October 2016.
Of course there is much more being offered by different partners across the city and we would love to hear about your events.
Our next full bulletin will be circulated on 5 October so please submit any articles for inclusion by 3 October.
I hope you all enjoy celebrating International Older People's Day.

In the Council House on Old Market Square from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm.
As
AFN celebrates the diversity of our older citizens on International Older
People’s Day we will share recipes and stories about our favourite foods.
Not
only will we learn more about foods from different cultures but we will be able
to sample different tastes from around the world. There will also be an opportunity to play games
and activities that you may not have played for quite a while.
Places are limited and booking for this event is essential, for more details email healthandwellbeing@nottinghamcity.gov.uk or phone 0115 8765720.
