In advance of the event, the National Careers Service will be delivering an online Get Ready for Employment session on Wednesday 9 September 1 to 2pm. The session will provide practical advice and support, including:
- CV support and guidance
- Confidence building
- Tips on starting meaningful conversations with employers

A free, hands-on carpentry session delivered at a wood workshop in Openshaw. This short course gives you the chance to develop practical woodworking skills while learning about sustainability and repurposing materials in a real workshop environment.
