A free, creator-led football and careers event bringing together released academy and non-league players, alongside employers, brands and industry professionals. The day combines competitive matches with a careers and activation zone, helping young people explore opportunities beyond football.
Event date: Saturday 23 May 2026 Location: Platt Lane Complex, Manchester
The event will feature live content creation, employer engagement and career opportunities across sectors including tech, media, health, finance and education. Around 65 players will take part, with an expected audience of over 1,000 attendees.
Open to young people interested in football, careers and networking opportunities in a range of industries.

A free, hands-on carpentry session delivered at a wood workshop in Openshaw. This short course gives you the chance to develop practical woodworking skills while learning about sustainability and repurposing materials in a real workshop environment.
