We have had a busy month in Kilburn. We have been continuing to support Ukrainian refugees, connecting them with training providers and supporting them in their return to meaningful work. Amongst the partners we have been networking with have been Families For Peace and Royal Free Hospital. Our residents are also now receiving support from both Job Hub Advisers and our Accessibility Job Hub Lead who is there to provide additional advice for residents facing mental and/or physical health issues. We are continuing to work closely with One Kilburn, exploring ways that we can better engage with residents, particularly those from hard to reach areas in Kilburn. On Friday 9th June from 11am to 1pm, we will be hosting NHS at Sidings Community Centre who will provide all attendees with NHS job application advice, interview support as well as access to relevant vacancies.
The Job Hub is providing you an opportunity to meet the Job Brokers who will be giving advice and guidance around finding a job with a chance for you to ask them questions.

The Google Career Certificates are back with three additional courses, aimed at empowering you to upskill and secure an entry level position with a firm within the tech industry. Previous cohorts have been able to transfer their skills into viable positions within data analytics and project management. We are still offering all Camden residents the opportunity to undertake our historic courses which include data analytics, digital marketing and e-commerce, IT support, project management, and user experience (UX) design, completely free of charge.
We would, however, like to introduce to you three new courses that will be made available: Business Intelligence, Data Analytics 2.0 and Cyber Security, that will be available in the coming weeks. These courses delve deeper into the world of tech and are highly sought after.
Google is working to make these certificates employer friendly and will have a lot of networking opportunities and events in the near future. We have just provided a recent graduate with an all-expense paid trip to Paris, courtesy of Google’s networking events.
