The Lambeth Neglect Strategy and Toolkit
Recognising the signs and symptoms of neglect at the earliest opportunity is a priority for Lambeth Children’s Social Care. The aim of the Neglect Strategy and Toolkit is to ensure that practitioners and partner agencies are supported to have the awareness and tools in order to effectively assess the impact of neglect for children and young people.
To support with this aim, Lambeth Children’s Social Care are requesting that any referrals made where neglect concerns are raised for a child now include a completed Neglect Toolkit. Further information and guidance regarding the Lambeth Neglect Strategy and Toolkit can be found on the Lambeth Safeguarding Children Partnership website, where the editable Neglect Toolkit document can be downloaded and sent with any relevant children’s social care safeguarding referrals.
