 31 March 2026
Mind's Hounslow Safe Space phoneline will close on Tuesday, 31 March. Hestia will then run a helpline for people in mental health crisis and emotional distress, open seven days a week from 2pm until 10pm. The phone number is 0203 869 2793.
It will also offer a drop‑in support service for residents of Hounslow aged 18 and above at the BridgeLink Centre.
It will provide a safe, calm, and welcoming space where people can get immediate support without needing to attend A&E. The aim is to reduce distress, help people feel heard, and support them to regain stability in the moment.
April is World Autism Acceptance Month. The National Autistic Society (NAS) is looking for people who can run events to fundraise for autism services, raise awareness of autism and remove barriers for autistic people to good education and employment.
You can walk, run or think of another fun event to help. There are rescources for schools and workplaces on the NAS website to help you get started.
If you want to take part as an individual or with friends, that would be great too. Your efforts will help to create a world where autistic people can live without discrimination, form more connections and find happiness.
There will be an employment support drop-in session at Holy Trinity Church, Hounslow from 1pm to 4pm on Monday, 13 April.
The service is aimed at adults with disabilities or health conditions who are looking for work, struggling in their current job, or would like some guidance and confidence to take their next step.
