There will be two family fun days at Hounslow community hubs over the easter break.
Turn up on the day for free food and refreshments, face painting, healthy cooking demos, mental health and wellbeing support, free health checks and more.
The first will be at Beavers Comminuty Hub and Library from 11.30am until 2.30pm on Wednesday, 1 April.
The second will be at Bedfont Lane Community Hub and Library from 11.30am until 3pm on Thursday, 9 April.

 London Councils is inviting people to attend a photography and filming session for a London‑wide vaccination campaign. Anyone who takes part will be rewarded with a £20 voucher and travel expenses.
The aim is to encourage positive conversations about vaccination. It features residents sharing their own reasons for getting vaccinated, and they would love for real people across London to be involved.
There will be photography and filming sessions across three days in the following locations:
- Friday, 27 March at Barking Learning Centre - 2 Town Sq, Barking IG11 7NB
- Monday, 30 March at Euston Community Hub - N Gower St, London NW1 2LY
- Wednesday, 1 April at Battersea Park Library - 309 Battersea Park Rd, London SW11 4NF
People from across London can attend any session, you don't need to be from the borough where it's held.

 Hounslow Adult and Community Education (HACE) has a number of health and wellbeing courses starting from April.
There is everything from gentle chair yoga and pilates to healthy cooking courses and painting for wellbeing.

 Hounslow’s Carers Service is hosting a weekend café at Chiswick Cinema from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday, 11 April.
There are over 19,000 unpaid carers in Hounslow, and this is an opportunity for those in the Chiswick area to meet up, relax and learn more from fellow carers. Council staff will will also be on hand to offer further advice, guidance, and support.
 Lampton Leisure is once again partnering with Stay Steady and Active to provide Otago and balance sessions for Hounslow residents. There will be two 10-week courses starting on the following dates:

Otago is a proven, evidence-based programme that guides participants through 17 targeted exercises to help reduce falls and improve daily movement.
It's suitable for all fitness levels and is great for building strength, balance and confidence in a friendly and supportive environment.

Young people aged 16-18 who are interested in learning a trade or a career in construction can enrol in a training programme, which will start on Monday, 30 March and run for 12 to 17 weeks, depending on individuals' progress.
It is designed for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are currently not in employment, education or training. People can learn:

Basic practical trade skills, such as carpentry or plumbing

Functional English and maths skills to support progression towards accredited qualifications, including the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card

Insight into how construction sites operate, through workshops or site visits providing first-hand experience

 Head to the BridgeLink Centre in Isleworth for a community health event from 11am-1pm on Thursday, 26 March.
Services offering support on physical and mental health, stress management, job opportunities and more will be available on the day.
Chat with health and social care professionals, ask questions, get guidance and discover new services. You don't need to book a place, just turn up on the day.
Ashish has given up smoking with the support of the Hounslow Stop Smoking Service and BetterPoints.
His journey shows that with the right support and tools, becoming smoke free is possible and the benefits are life-changing.
After deciding it was time for a change, he connected with Healthy Hounslow and started using the BetterPoints app alongside it to earn rewards at each stage of quitting smoking.
He says the support he's received has been "invaluable".

 Hounslow's Health Outreach Team (HOT) will be out in the coming weeks offering free blood pressure checks, BMI weight checks and balance checks.
You can meet the team on the following dates:
- Friday, 27 March – Barclays Bank, High Street – 10am to 12pm
- Wednesday 1, April – Treaty Centre HOT Shop – 9am to 5pm
- Friday, 3 April – Brentford Library – 10am to 2pm
The team can also give advice on concerns such as diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, mental health and much more.
