It will be in place until Sunday, 12 January.
During this period, emergency accommodation is available to make sure that people can be brought off the streets and away from the cold. If you know someone who is sleeping rough in Hounslow, or if you see someone sleeping rough, you can help them by referring them to Streetlink so they can access the support they need.
You can also use this service to get help for yourself if you are sleeping rough in Hounslow.

There is a variety of offers available at different locations across the borough, ranging from community hubs to churches and libraries, where residents can access classes, free wi-fi, have a hot drink or food, or simply read a book. Find your nearest warm space using this interactive map.

Hospitals are currently experiencing pressure from treating a range of viruses and demand for NHS services is likely to increase over the next few weeks as a cold snap is expected across England.
Make sure to protect yourself by getting vaccinated. GPs and pharmacies are still offering flu vaccinations for those at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu. You can also get Covid-19 vaccines at walk-in sites, until the end of January.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is running an Introduction to Healthy Lifestyle course from Thursday, 16 January 2025.
This 12-week course is designed for adults who are receiving or seeking support for their mental health. The course will explore key aspects of a healthy lifestyle including habit creation, caring for physical and mental health, and making sustainable lifestyle changes.
Sessions will run weekly from 11am to 12pm on Thursdays at the Brentford Football Club Community Stadium Hub, TW8 0SB. You can sign up or refer someone you know below.

Free activities include:
- Strength and balance classes
- Dance classes
- EGYM sessions
- And more
The event will be held on Wednesday 22 January, 10am to 1pm at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre.

The Self Management and Recovery Training (SMART) programme helps people to recover from drug and alcohol problems or any other kind of addiction by building and maintaining motivation, coping with urges and managing thoughts and behaviours.
This new online meeting is aimed at Punjabi speakers and is open to anyone, whether they are already receiving support or not.
The meeting will take place every Sunday at 8am.

![Tobacco Control Workshop](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/UKHOUNSLOW/2024/12/10725110/tobacco-control-workshop_original.jpg) Join a collaborative session on tobacco control with the Hounslow Tobacco Control Alliance on Tuesday, 14 January 2025, 2pm to 5pm at Hounslow House.
The workshop will be a chance to provide your input on tackling tobacco use and its inequalities in Hounslow, including a talk by Mira Osinibi, Paediatric Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Anyone with an interest is welcome to attend.

Please note the HOT team is no longer delivering vaccinations with Jade Pharmacy.
HOT will be at the following locations across Hounslow:
- Thursday, 9 January – Isleworth Library – 3pm to 5pm
- Friday, 10 January – Tesco Feltham, 98 High St, Feltham TW13 4DZ – 10am to 4pm
