The NHS is hosting a series of walk-in clinics across north west London where you can get your child vaccinated against measles over the summer holidays.
Measles is highly contagious and there has been a rise in cases across north west London recently. The MMR vaccine is the most effective way to prevent the spread of infection.
The early symptoms of measles can cause your child a lot of discomfort, but the infection also puts them at risk of much more serious health challenges. If it spreads to the brain or lungs it can result in difficulty breathing, blindness, hearing loss or brain damage.
If you have any questions about the vaccine, talk to your GP or visit your local walk-in clinic.
Check out the full list of walk-in vaccine sites via the button below.
The weather in London will be hot for most of this week. During this time, please take extra care of your own health and look out for others, especially older people and those who have long-term health conditions that make them more susceptible to the heat.

To ensure they are creating a programme for community members, they are running a series of workshops where they will co-design The Teashop+ with residents.
The workshops will take place in Holborn throughout the summer, and attendees will be paid for their time. The workshops are open to everyone, but Mind Axis would particularly like to hear from residents with lived experience of mental health issues and/or those close to someone who has experienced psychological distress.
