IMPS Holiday Clubs and Consultation

What? Come and join Jodie and explore the musicals through instruments, singing and dancing! We'll have a main stage in our activities room, where we'll create characters and scenes together in exciting games. We'll make our own theatrical music and songs, and we'll sing your favourites as an encore! We'll also have our sensory 'dressing room' in our breakout room to chill out, or explore lots of fabulous theatre props and dressing up.

Where? Accessible Arts and Media, Clifton Explore Library, Rawcliffe Drive, YO30 6NS

Clifton Explore is fully accessible with step free access, accessible parking and accessible toilet as well as a changing places.

Cost? £12, payable cash or card on the day. Subsidised places and sibling discounts are available- please contact us for details

Who? 8+- this is only a guide, so if you fall outside of this age gap, please get in contact.

All of our holiday clubs are fully inclusive. You don't need to any experience in music to take part.

You may have also seen that Accessible Arts & Media are running a consultation. We have funding in place to run more inclusive music activities for young people aged 5-25 from next year. We really value your opinion on what we can do to develop our programme for young people. We’d be very grateful if you could spend a bit of time filling out this form to help up plan new activities. Calling all adventurers aged 11-18 with a vision impairment!

On the 22nd of March 2025, we will go on a jam-packed adventure day at Mount Cook Adventure Centre in Derbyshire, where we will take part in exciting activities like rock climbing, scrambling, and high ropes.

Provisional timings for the trip are as follows: the trip will start at 9.30am and will finish at 5pm. You will be expected to arrive a little earlier than this. Lunch will be included.

You will need to make your own way to Mount Cook Adventure Centre. If you have transport difficulties, please send an email to Fran.Barrett@rsbc.org.uk and we will try to find a solution which works for you.

Places are limited, so please book in plenty of time to secure your space! This trip is free of charge thanks to the 'Adventures Away From Home' funding scheme. If you secure a space and won’t be able to come please let us know in good time so we can let someone from our waiting list take part in this experience instead.

We are excited to announce that the annual SEND Preparing for Adulthood event is returning in 2025 on Wednesday 5 February at the Mercure Hotel, Willerby. This free event offers valuable information and support for children with SEND and their families as they transition into adulthood and adult social care.

Time – 10:00 to 12:00

COST – FREE, parking is available onsite, refreshments will be provided.

Notes - This session is for all parents and carers of children and young people (0-25) with SEND. Travel and childcare costs can be reimbursed.

Please join us for our regular Check-in & Chat event. Representatives from the local authority will be joining us along with people from health, and social care.

This is also a chance to meet the members of the EYPCF team and a great opportunity to meet likeminded parents and carers who understand what life is like as a SEND family to share experiences and offer peer to peer support.

EYPCF Participation Coordinator

Job Role:

This is an exciting role in which you will facilitate and enable the EYPCF Trustees andmembers of the EYPCF steering group to represent the views and experiences of parents and carers regarding the Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) services in co-production with East Riding LA, Health, Social Care and the Voluntary sector.

We require a suitably qualified and experienced person to ensure that parents and carers have knowledge and information of the SEND processesto enable them to participate fully in the SEND system.

Must have Professional Indemnity Insurance, be able to drive and have own car. Hours are flexible and need to be able to cover events and meetings outside of normal office hours across the East Riding.
