2 Year Funding
All parents wishing to claim the 2 year funding in the Summer term must now have applied, and been found eligible for this funding.
You will need to ensure you have obtained a copy of the funding confirmation which must be kept in the child’s records. confirmation can either be a screen shot of the summary page on the parent account or a copy of the funding letter sent by the relevant local authority.
Any funding confirmations with a start date after 31, March 2023 can be claimed from the 2023 Autumn term.
30 Hours Extended Entitlement
Please ensure that you are checking 30 hours codes before the 17, April 2023, only codes with a start date of 31, March 2023 or before are eligible for the summer term. Codes with a start date after 31, March 2023 can be claimed from 2023 Autumn term.
Please remember that any child wanting to begin their 30 hours Extended Entitlement from the 2023 Summer term must not be in their grace period. We advise that all codes are checked prior to the start of the term to ensure that all parents have reconfirmed their details before the code end date.

This 90-minute ZOOM webinar will be useful for all childcare settings and activity club providers from across the UK. You should attend if you provide childcare, early years entitlements, before and after school care or activities and/ or holiday activities which are used by parents and carers to help them to work.
If you provide paid for childcare or an activity service for children you be able to support parents by signing up, which could help boost your business; for example organisations that offer sport, drama and music clubs that have registered on the voluntary Ofsted register in England.
This webinar continues our work to raise awareness of Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) and we want to increase your understanding of the scheme. We have developed the content in response to the questions raised by providers at our first webinar in February 2023. This webinar aims to provide an overview of all the information childcare providers needs to know to support them to be able to sign up and offer TFC to parents and carers.
HMRC has asked Hempsall’s to deliver the webinar, because we are a specialist early years and childcare organisation providing consultancy, training and research for governments, councils and providers.
