Creative Transitions: Arts Awards – with Tom Hill, Vicky Haswell and Emma Walker. Our weekly Creative Transitions workshops will be online for this half term and there is now the opportunity to complete an Arts Award at home via video conferencing (zoom) with the support of our trained Arts Awards advisers. Castaway Music Theatre Act (online) - Off stage and between shows during COVID 19, this group works on the acting and creative skills of bringing character from script to stage in speech, facial expression, physical movement and song.

Castaway Sing Community Choir - Castaway Sing (Fridays 10.30 - 11.30am) - (Any age group) - Sing continues rehearsing and song learning, meeting online. The choir’s lockdown recording of ‘You Will Be Found’ is on our facebook page, the group sing this and their wide song list together whenever performances resume, indoors or out.
Castaway Theatre - Exciting new Arts Outreach from Castaway Theatre - We are looking for young people between the ages of 16-25 years who are interested in the arts (music, dance, drama, theatre, visual arts) in the East Riding towns and villages. We are interested in starting new regional sessions in localities where there is not currently an arts based offer for people aged 16-25 years with additional needs. We would like to start to make connections with families now to ascertain needs/ interests/ requirements. The theme of the outreach sessions will be led by members, the focus is on their story and their interests. Please let us know if you are in the East Riding area and would be interested in this. Castaway Goole Youth Saturdays: weekly drama and music with skilled support for additional needs - (these sessions are currently online via zoom)
Sloop Group - Music making for 10 - 25 year olds from a wide area around Goole. A unique chance to learn instruments, create and record your own music, play and sing together and progress towards performing or joining other Castaway groups. Anyone can join, make friends, have fun. Led by Tom Sherman. Funded by Youth Music.
Castaway Youth Theatre for 8 – 18s who want to act, make music and films, on stage and off. Everyone welcome - it’s a great way to make friends, have fun and achieve more than you ever thought you would. Led by Elle Douglas Funded by Children in Need.
