Support our services, switch to e-billing

The less we need to spend on paper and postage, the more there is for frontline services. Left: envelopes. Right: a StreetScene worker digging

Join residents across East Devon helping frontline teams, like those who look after and clear up our public spaces. Switching to e-billing saves paper and postage, which can be better spent on frontline services instead.

Are you recycling items the correct way?

Jars with an arrow pointing to a recycling box lids

Place the correct items in your kerbside recycling sack to help reduce contamination. Reducing contamination means that more of what is collected can be successfully recycled, with less risk of it being rejected at the processing stage.

When you're recycling glass, please remember that:

  • glass jars and bottles should go in your recycling box
  • lids should be removed and placed in your green recycling sack

Your green recycling sack should only contain the following packaging items:

  • mixed plastics – bottles, tubs, pots, and trays*
  • *food tins and drinks cans
  • foil – foil wrap, foil food trays and empty aerosols

*Please wash and squash items where possible.

If you're ever unsure how to dispose of something, visit the A - Z search tool:
