Have your say: final consultation on East Devon’s new Local Plan
The deadline for responses is 12pm on Monday 26 January 2026
Take part in the final stage of consultation on the blueprint for where new homes, jobs and supporting infrastructure will go across the district over the coming years. This final stage gives people a last opportunity to comment on new evidence and updates before the plan is submitted to a government-appointed Planning Inspector for examination.Â
Other active consultations and surveys
If you, or someone you know, is unable to complete an online consultation or survey, request a paper version, by emailing engagement@eastdevon.gov.uk. Please submit this request at least four days before the consultation closes, so that the response is received before the deadline.

Think twice before using foil or glittery wrapping paper
More environmentally friendly gift-wrapping options include using newspapers you've already read, re-usable fabric, recycled and recyclable brown paper, or re-usable gift boxes or bags
Glitter is made from microplastics, which can’t be recycled and often end up polluting our environment. Choose recyclable alternatives like plain paper or reusable gift bags instead. Let’s wrap responsibly!
