Fly-tipping in focus again – second public awareness event takes place
A staged fly-tip at an event in Budleigh Salterton provided a realistic and impactful representation of the kind of illegal dumping that sadly occurs across East Devon. Advice about responsible dog ownership, microchipping, and reporting fouling or nuisance behaviour, was also provided by East Devon District Council's (EDDC) Dog Enforcement Officer.
Raising awareness and prompting open conversations, EDDC ran the event in partnership with Devon & Cornwall Police, the Environment Agency, Clean Devon, Clinton Devon Estates, and other local organisations.
