Seaton Centre Visitor Trust and Councillor Geoff Jung handing the cheque to Seaton Wetlands

Exe estuary wildlife thriving thanks to refuge areas
Councillor Geoff Jung on ITV news
A big thank you to the South East Devon Wildlife team, water sports groups, residents, and visitors, who have helped the Exe estuary wildlife refuges flourish. This has been a really successful winter with a low level of disturbance, a rich diversity of species and good bird numbers. The two refuges are marked by yellow buoys, with the one on the Exmouth side active from September until the end of December. Dawlish Warren's refuge area is in place all-year-round.

Be a Super-Recycler by being recycling sack savvy
Help us to cut out contamination by only putting the items we can recycle from the kerbside in your recycling sack.
The metal items shown above have recently been put into recycling sacks causing contamination. Please only use your sacks to recycle your food tins, drinks cans, foil wrap, foil food trays and empty aerosols. All the items shown in the image can be recycled at a household recycling centre.
Keeping contamination down means that we can more easily recycle items we can collect and reduces the risk of a rejected load at the processing stage.

Four of Swords in Beer Quarry Caves with Medea in 2023
After their wildly successful run in Beer Quarry Caves with Medea in 2023, Four of Swords will be coming to the Manor Pavilion Theatre Sidmouth to host four days (12 - 15 February) of intensive workshops that examine what immersive theatre can mean.
