 We wish you a Merry Christmas
East Devon District Council’s main phone lines will be closed for Christmas from 12 pm on Friday, 22 December and will re-open in the New Year at 9am on Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

 The first draft of the East Devon District Council Plan 2023-2027 is now available to read and we’re after your thoughts on it.
The consultation is split into four separate surveys which ask questions based on our four priority areas: housing, environment, economy and core services. Let us know if you agree with our four key priorities or if there is anything crucial that we are missing.

 After months of research and development, LED Community Leisure is thrilled to launch its new look website which has been designed specifically for use on mobile, offers enhanced timetables, up to date content, new blog posts and improved user navigation.

Christmas Tree Recycling
 If you have a real Christmas tree, and you've signed up for green waste collections, we can take your tree if it fits inside your green bin, with the lid closed and no branches are thicker than 10cm. To subscribe to the green waste service, head to the council's website.

 Collection dates return to normal from Monday, 15 January 2024
In the festive Recycling and Waste newsletter you can find out what your collection dates will be, what you can recycle, and what to do with unwanted gifts.

Opening hours over the festive period

The Thelma Hulbert Gallery is still open for any last minute Christmas gift needs!
The gallery will close at 3pm on 23 December, reopening 4 January 2024.
The next exhibition will be the first UK showing of Acoustics of Resistance, a new project by Mikhail Karikis focusing on the climate emergency and exploring listening as a form of climate care, solidarity, and activism.
The THG team would like to thank everyone for their support this year, and wish you a relaxing, festive break.
