Axminster's first Gate to Plate on Saturday

This fantastic, free, open-air event will highlight the best of the district's outstanding food and drink producers, from 10am - 4pm on October 7, on Silver Street, Church Street and around the Minster.

There will be stalls for traditional crafts people, performances from entertainers, and live music. Organisations like Building Greater Exeter will be championing skills and employability initiatives, and local career opportunities too.

Free gym sessions for all ages next weekend

LEDs Open Weekend. Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October. A weekend of fitness fun and wellbeing. Photos of people doing exercise

Why not try some of the free activities taking place at all LED Leisure centres from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 October?

There are in-person and online exercise classes, gym and personal trainer taster sessions, and swim for all sessions. Special events and activities include glow-in-the dark spin, diva dance and fancy dress circuits. 

Activities for children include bounce sessions, mermaid swim, water polo, climbing, and gymnastics.

Repair and improvement works at The Glen in Honiton

Improvements, including to the gates, handrails, and steps leading to The Glen will begin on Monday, 9 October. Sections of the park will be closed whilst this work is completed.
