Macclesfield driving test centre temporary closure extended further

The temporary move of Macclesfield driving test centre has been extended further

We previously wrote to you about the temporary move of Macclesfield driving test centre (DTC) due to a safety inspection. This was then extended to Wednesday 31 May 2023.

A decision has now been made to continue the use of the temporary centre until Friday 30 June 2023.

Bollington, Macclesfield

Candidates should use the overflow carpark of Bollington Football Club which is next door on Ovenhouse Lane. You can follow the DVSA signage.

Examiners will meet candidates at their cars at the time of test.

The car park must not be used for candidates to practise parking exercises.    

Candidates and instructors will be able to use the toilet facilities at the centre. There is also a café for accompanying drivers to wait in.
